LUSK - ECCE /BREAKFAST CLUB & AFTERSCHOOL
Little Scholars Montessori & Childcare (Carnegie) offers a range of childcare services to support families throughout the day. We provide morning Sessional Care for children from 2 years and 8 months, as well as year-round Breakfast Club and Afterschool Care for children from Junior Infants to 6th Class.
We provide drop-off and collection to Lusk National School only, and care during school closure days is also available for children attending our Breakfast Club and Afterschool service.
Sessional Care
Our morning Sessional Care service is designed for younger children in a warm, nurturing and engaging environment.
Sessional Hours & Fees
Sessional Care -9:00am – 12:00 noon
ECCE registered children: €0
Private Paid Place - 5 days: €75 per week
We offer a 2-year free preschool place for children who are eligible under the ECCE Scheme.
Children must reach the age of 2 years and 8 months before 1st September to qualify for ECCE. Children outside this age group may avail of a private paid place, provided they meet the admission criteria. Private paid sessional places are charged over 38 weeks only.
Sessional Opening Schedule
Our Sessional Care service operates 38 weeks per year, in line with the school term calendar.
Sessional Availability
Little Scholars Montessori & Childcare gives preference to full-time places over part-time places in line with our P&P. Part-time places will be accommodated where available, and a waiting list will be maintained for part-time requests.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club provides a calm and welcoming start to the school day, with drop-off to Lusk National School included.
Breakfast Club Hours & Fees
7:30am – 8:50am - 5 days: €50 per week
Fees may be discounted through the NCS Scheme for eligible children.
Afterschool Care
Our Afterschool service offers a safe, supportive space where children can relax after school, take part in activities, and enjoy a structured end to their day.
We provide collection from Lusk National School only, and school closure care is also available.
Afterschool Hours & Fees
1:30pm – 6:00pm - €140 per week
2:30pm – 6:00pm - €130 per week
Fees may be discounted through the NCS Scheme for eligible children.
Breakfast Club & Afterschool Opening Schedule
Our Breakfast Club and Afterschool service operates 49 weeks of the year.
We are closed during:
the last week of July
the first week of August
Christmas week
Fees are charged 49 weeks per year, and there is no reduction in fees for Public or Bank Holidays.
