MALAHIDE - ECCE
Little Scholars Montessori & Childcare, located within St. Andrew's Parish Centre in the heart of Malahide, provides a high-quality Montessori preschool programme for children aged 2 years and 8 months to school age.
Our preschool offers a warm, nurturing and engaging learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning. Guided by the principles of Aistear and Síolta, our experienced early years educators support each child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through meaningful play-based learning experiences.
In line with our enrolment policies, priority is given to children attending the full preschool week (Monday to Friday). Within this, preference is given to families who avail of the optional additional care session from 12:00 noon to 12:30pm.
ECCE Preschool Programme
Our preschool programme is designed to provide children with a strong foundation for future learning, development and school readiness.
ECCE Hours & Fees
ECCE Session
9:00am – 12:00 noon (Free under the ECCE Scheme for eligible children)
Optional Additional Care
12:00 noon – 12:30pm (€50 per week)
Children attending under the ECCE Scheme receive a free preschool place for up to two programme years, subject to ECCE eligibility criteria.
Children must reach the age of 2 years and 8 months before the relevant ECCE eligibility date to qualify.
Opening Schedule
Our ECCE Preschool Programme operates for 38 weeks per year in line with the school term calendar.

Availability
Places are allocated on a priority basis.

Part-time attendance requests may be considered where availability allows. Where demand exceeds available places, a waiting list will operate.
Our goal is to provide a safe, engaging and supportive environment where children can unwind, learn and enjoy their time in ECCE.
